Our first week

Today we made some awesome pancakes with caramelized bananas and frozen yogurt for brunch. (More like breakfast for me and lunch for Hyeyoung actually 'cos I got up late.) Coupled with pipping hot and fresh Lavazza's Caffè espresso, it was the perfect breakfast.

I HEARTS PANCAKES (and bananas)!

Then last Sunday we had our post-中秋节/추석 celebration dinner. Hyeyoung made awesome 잡채 (Japchae). After reading from some Korean Tourism book, that it's originated from Hyeyoung's province, I've been dying to try Japchae. Especially since it's Tang Hoon. I love fried Tang Hoon!

Ihntaek made a variation of 파전 (Pajeon) with fish called 생선전 (Saengseon jeon) and the patty like thingy is 동그랑땡 (Donggeurang ttaeng). Both were very delicious! The patty was a mixture of (if I remember correctly) garlic, ginger, octopus and meat. I should get the recipe from him...

Finally, Jiyeon was THE man girl 'cos she was the booze sponsor. Probably the most crucial element to a party.

I think Annie is right. I need to start trading my Japanese condiments for Korean ones soon... =)

Off to Sydney tomorrow. FINALLY... My haircut!
