Today I jogged for the 2nd time ever since my return four weeks ago. Once again, I took a route which will pass by that faithful road between Johns and Burgmann Colleges. I also purposely jogged to the edge of Lake Burley Griffin where countless tears were added to the waters of the artificial lake 3 years ago in 2006.
Guess what?
I didn't feel a thing! Even now, as I'm typing all these, I feel kinda numb. And I think that's a good thing. =)
Also, I caught Hula Girls earlier this evening. All 248 tickets were given out by the time I got to the cinema and I had to be put on the waiting list. Luckily, (for reasons unknown to me,) I got a ticket in the end. It would be extremely disappointing if I had to go home without watching the film, especially when I'd already bought chips and coke. Heh. Anyway, it was such a touching film. There were a few scenes that my tears just oozed out because it was simply too touching! If you had never seen it, you should. The message couldn't be delivered more strongly than a film based on a true story.
Oh yes, I should have written this earlier but I just want to thank a good friend who called all the way from Geneva last Sunday morning. It not only made my Sunday a better one but the entire week as well! So yeah, thanks girl... Really appreciated it.
(p.s. WAH there's a wiki entry on ダウンタウンのガキの使いやあらへんで!! (Downtown no Gaki no Tsukai ya Arande!), one of my favorite Japanese comedies.)
