[Ritsuko Okazaki - For Fruits Basket]
I'd just received word that a good friend of mine got engaged recently (while en route from Helsinki to Stockholm to be exact). I'm so happy for her. Gosh, they make such a wonderful couple. Really, I'm very very very happy for her. How I wish I could be in Singapore now, sharing the joy with her. Kao, I can just imagine her reaction and his pai-sehness. Hahaha.
You know, it's such incidents that light up the dark saying, "don't drown in the gloominess of the depondent winter night for time will come for the sky to lit up and the flowers to bloom". Yet another reason for me to smile about.
I shan't go into details but I'd hung out with both of them and (argh) they just simply make me envious and jealous. Not to mention that was the time when I'd just broken up with Esther. And I suppose this news came in good time, after the long talk with Amelia just now. And by the way, I'd officially wasted the entire night. But it was well spent I should say. Very well spent indeed. 'Cept for the case of the mystery stainer. Oh well, I digressed again. My mind's kinda numb to blog about engagement and marriage now but yeah, it's good news and I can't wait to tell my sis about it.
Well, Elaine & Jeff, congrats. *Hugs*
