In other news...

I cooked Beef Rendang today. ^_^

It's the first time I've cook it and just in case you're wondering... No, I didn't cook this from scratch. I did it all with the help of Prima Taste's Rendang mix. Just like it's cousin, Laksa mix, the end product smells and taste like the real thing.

But I did make something from scratch though...

TADA! Linguine carbonara! Recipe taken from here. (Thanks to Belinda who introduced the site to me.) Everything's the same 'cept I used REAL bacon and 2 egg yolks instead. This is actually version 3.0 and I realized that 2 egg yolks actually taste better.

Come Sunday, I'm going to try Pan-fried Snapper with wasabi dressing. Once again, I'm going to modify this dish and use a different fish instead. Maybe Salmon... And I'd need a side to go with it 'cos just fish alone isn't going to fill my stomach. Sweet Potato Rosti sounds good though. Hmmm... Will post pictures if I remember and if its successful.
