[Utada Hikaru 宇多田ヒカル - Beautiful World]
Signs are so confusing. Because of the nature of signs, there is absolutely no way one could be certain about their interpretation. I am no different. Aside from the uber stressing exams, the many varied signs in my life recently has made me extremely confused about the decisions in life. I'm not at a crossroad but a highway interchange - things are moving fast and I need to make decisions fast too!
Moving on to another topic, Anna, Yongmin and I went to Waraji today for dinner and it was awesome. I had my first お茶漬け (Ochazuke). Yongmin told me about it when he had it in Japan and I've been curious ever since. It was a very refreshing dish and I think I'm going to try and replicate it during the hols. Besides that, we also ordered 揚げ出し豆腐 (Agedashi Tofu), 鋤焼 (Sukiyaki), 豚肉生姜焼き (Buta Niku Shogayaki), 刺身 (Sashimi) and Crazy Jerry Roll. Dinner started with a bottle of Japanese beer each and subsequently we shared a bottle of cold 酒 (Sake). Needless to say, Anna and I were damn red and we were all damn full by the end of the meal.
Today's was probably one of the best meals here in North Carolina. Never mind the fact that we missed Arcade Fire. The company was good, the food was good and the alcohol was good. We had a few good laughs and some silly photos. What else could one ask for?
Well, I hope that the last 4 days that I'd be here will be just as fun and memorable. Meanwhile, I need to study for my exams, finish my papers and make a few decisions in life.
