Tell me. How many times have you read Straits Times' Urban, looked at the "Hey Good Looking" section and said to yourself, "Wah lau, this one where got chio/shuai?" I know I have, about 26173618 times. Those lines were at the tip of my tongue as I scrolled down the page today but in an extremely rare occasion, I swallowed them today.

Perhaps it's her mousey face or it could be her big eyes. Maybe the sexy black number from Mango that reveals a bit of her cleavage. What about those seemingly long, fair legs that's strutting on a pair of URS heels? I know some might find her ankles sexy but not me. So it's got to be it - her collarbones. Yes. Definitely the collarbones...
Long have I wanted to bitch about the quality of women and guys that appear on "Hey Good Looking". While I won't deny that Singapore isn't exactly chio bu heaven (unlike Carolina :p), but it can't be so jia lat until every week's a disappointment right? Readers of Singapore Tatler would know that there're gems to be found in every event, regardless big or small. Perhaps dear Melissa Lee is trying to prove a point with her section - "good looking people don't have to look chio, dress chio is also good looking" or "everybody also can be good looking". Well, whatever argument you're trying to prove Melissa, I don't care. Just know that you've done an excellent job this week and keep it up the next time. Meanwhile, I still look forward to every Wednesday's issue of Urban.
p.s. actually the model on the cover of this week's "Mind Your Body" also quite cute. hur.
