Reunion dinner

Yes lah! China has finally agreed release our dear Straits Times journalist, Ching Cheong. I've always believed that he's innocent and was never a spy. In fact, I have reasons to believe that he's just a scapegoat, made to induce fear into currently operational spies from the region. These kinda things always like that one, catch one to scare thousands, it's nothing but a subtle message. But now that he's released, he can go home and have reunion dinner with his family.

Ahhh... Reunion dinner with family... Fish maw, chicken and abalone soup, fried tofu with leek, steamed pomfret and, "har lok" (prawns with this dark, spicy sauce, my family's secret recipe). Wah, I can just smell it. Mmm... My mom's cooking... How I wish I have the infrastructure to replicate it here. Maybe with the exception of Har Lok cause that one secret recipe. But still! I want to eat my mommy's cooking! Tmd, even eat her Maggi with "Chao San Si" and eggs also shiok.

Well, the peeps here are going to whip up a few dishes. Then after that it's the famed/notorious UNC versus Duke basketball game. By the way, I think calling Duke, Dook is just plain childish. Not that I'm the most mature lah but Dook is just so tasteless. Anyway, I digressed. I can't wait to eat what NUS people have to offer. While food is important, I think that night, it'd be the awesome company and the game. I just love how pure and innocent they all are. Unlike the bitching that's going on in ANU, while that's fun, sometimes it just makes me sick. Ok. I'm rambling.

Stupid nose keep running. LIKE THAT HOW TO PUT ON MASK FOR TONIGHT?! Argh!
