The end of Austin

And so my weekend getaway here at Austin has to come to an end. To think that I read my flight details wrongly, thinking that I'm arriving at 10:55 when in actual fact, it's 23:55! Heng I never chiong to the airport at 04:30. If not WK sure kill me one. Hur hur hur.

While I did not see much of Austin, we did made a trip down to San Antonio, and visited The Alamo where the famous Battle of Alamo occurred. Wasn't a beautiful sight but hey, at least I learnt something on this short trip right? Plus there was this Rodeo Show going on at San Antonio's downtown so we got to try some Native American 小吃 and saw some cowboy (HEE HAR!) stuff.

There was plenty of shopping (but most of them aren't for me). Had lots of good food, courtesy of EY (:p) and best of all, it was awesome to catch up with a familiar face, especially someone from Canberra.

It's going to be a rather long flight home. I should try to catch some sleep since it's going to be at least 02:00 until I get my ass back to Chapel Hill and I have a freaking 08:00 tomorrow!
