Too busy to emo

[Zhang Hui Mei 张惠妹 - 记得]

I was caught in the rain here, in Chapel Hill, for the first time yesterday. It was a relatively huge downpour, winds and lots of water. Those who knows me would know that I love rain. I love it when it happens and I love being in it when it happens. Sometimes, I will even deliberately jog in the rain. Well anyway, Robert and I were walking out to dinner when it happened. Robert is my fellow suite-mate from San Diego. He's like an ABF where F stands for Filipino. We had dinner at this place called Mediterranean Deli (I think). The fillings huge and I love the garlic sauce so I'd most likely pop by again and I'd take photos the next time. I took this photo when I got back. It's a view from the corridor of my dorm.

As you can see, living on the 10th floor has it's advantages. I can't wait for the forest to turn into shades of brown and yellow during autumn. Oh, the view at the bathroom (that's what they call a toilet here) when I take a dump is excellent too! I'd take a photo the next time I take a dump in the day. ;)

Then today, it was another mad rush for classes. Although I didn't manage to sign up for my last class, POLI 210 - Global Issues, because the lecturer was being an ass, I did however, manage to sign up (with the help of Ellen) for Scuba Diving, Jogging and Tennis! But I think I'm going to drop jogging as it's just plain redundant and lame. I can't wait for my first scuba lesson although, I DON'T HAVE TRUNKS! Meanwhile, I'd need to get ANU's approval on additional courses so that I can try to enroll for my final course. That I predict, is going to be tough.

Rebecca pop by today like the 1000th time just now. Rebecca's like a friend of Mark's (my other suit-mate). She's a freshman going to UPenn for Pre-Med. That's like how smart lah! Guess what's her heritage?

CHINESE lah! Totally don't look like right? Mark was like so sad that she's flying to Pennsylvania tomorrow. Damn hilarious man.

Alrighty, it's getting late and I have tonnes of things to finish up. Laters.

Your hair has certainly grown longer. Is this like your abroad hair style vs your other homecoming one?
