Wishing upon a star

[Move - Gamble Rumble]

Just came back from stargazing at Raffles Marina with Yongmin and if you read his entry on it, it is my duty to inform you that there's something missing in it. That is...

I SAW A SHOOTING STAR TONIGHT (and he didn't)!
Hahahaha!

But he's right. Lying on our backs, talking cock while gazing at a the twinkling stars from a jetty is damn shiok, not to mention the light sea land breeze and mosquitoes-less environment. (This is going to get confusing but...) Although we both wish that the person lying next to us is not us (if you get what I mean), it was nevertheless very nice and we were very glad that at least we have each other by our side.

On both sides of the stars are relatively bright skies, one that's Singapore and one that's Malaysia. I can't help but think how fortunate we are to be able to share such a beautiful sky on a peaceful night like tonight. Really, such peace is priceless and for the sake of my kids' future, I hope it will remain like that. I'm sure it will because I'd be there to ensure it; the peace in Singapore at least.

Perhaps September's Sustainable Security Forum might shed some light on the topic of peace.
