"This is not goodbye"

Drove Anna to the airport this morning and it wasn't as teary (for me) as expected. In fact, it wasn't teary at all. The first wave of emotions came after I wrote her card earlier in the morning. By the time the second wave hit me after we parted, I was too tired to feel anything since I'd stayed up the entire night before. Plus the solitary teary session yesterday afternoon probably drained my lacrimal sac.

I remember telling Yong Min over lunch at PT's that I'm very sad but I'm way too emotionally, psychologically and physically tired to express my feelings. I guess the fact that I've been wearing my contact lens for the past 72 hours says something about my recent sleeping habits right?

In any case, I think Anna's really a very nice girl.
1. She tried very hard to converse with me while we're on our way to the airport, despite the fact that she's very tired (probably from the lack of sleep as well).
2. She tried very hard to sustain the conversation.
3. She looked at me with those puppy eyes after checking-in her luggage, as I uttered some rubbish in an attempt to ask her to stay longer.
4. She gave me a really long hug before we parted.
5. She gave another shorter hug.
6. She turned back to look (and waved) shortly after we parted.
7. She text-ed me after reading the card.

So well, I'm officially missing my first UNC friend.
