Typically Singaporean

[Teriyaki Boyz - Tokyo Drift]

This is where we had lunch yesterday - Sean's Panaroma. It was a combined birthday lunch between Alex and me. Funny thing is, there were no birthday toasts. I guess that's because Alex and I were still trying to wash out all the alcohol in our system from our drinking session on Friday. I haven't had that much alcohol for eons. But hey, what can I say? After what I saw earlier in the afternoon, I was traumatised.

2 hours later, we had dinner with this family friend of Rus'.

Can you believe it? We rented a car to go Sydney, do nothing but eat. Typically Singaporean don't you think? Drive all the way to somewhere outta your neighbourhood, to have a meal simply because the food's good. Ha. The only difference it that we drove inter-state. Cool...

Guess what's this?

HAN ZI TENG! (Sweet potato soup!) It was good and in Rus' words, 很有家的味道. *Beams* Unfortunately, the Oyaku-Don he ordered on friday didn't turn out well. It's going to take some time before I master that Japanese dish.
