我终于等到了今天

[Three Degrees - When Will I See You Again?]

Phew. Finally I'd got the internet up and running. Having come from the very connected Singapore, it was a very weird feeling to have been "unplugged" from my virtual world. Not to even mention the trouble of running to school to use either the computers in the labs or the wifi.

But if you think that's an achievement, hear this:

I'm (finally) over Vera. It's official, it's true! Woo hoo!

Like what I'd said to many people, the feeling of putting down that baggage is just "oh!" so good.

But... How can be so sure? Oh you don't know...

I was having lunch at Canberra Centre today when I saw her and Chole coming down from the escalator. They were going to price attack (I think). Not long after, they came out with Jamie and was heading for the escalator. So I rushed through the last portion of my lunch and started to walk towards the escalator. I'm certain that if anyone of them saw me, they'd thought that I didn't see them. Well, I did and even at close proximity, my heart didn't skip a beat. Ah ha! Thus I knew... She's history.

Tell me, how can I not be smiling the whole day?

Of course like all stories, there's the other side of the coin - another contributing factor to this closure. For the lucky few who knows about it, seal you lips please. For the rest, let it be my little secret for now.

Damn, it's late and I still have a shit load of work to do! And I really need to get the pics from Rus and the others before I can write about this year's skyfire.
