[Eminem (Feat. Nate Dogg) - Shake That Ass For Me]
Thanks to Esther (Tay), my sis and I were able to catch up with Jason last night. It felt like the good old times minus the wildness. We hadn't meet up for more than half a decade and Esther was anticipating that there might be awkward silences that she even brought her laptop along. So that in cases as such, she thought we could at least watch some video on YouTube. I too was anticipating the meet up to be fast. Never did I thought that we could talk from 7pm to 1am. It was good. While we updated each other on our lives, I wonder what would we talk about the next time when we meet. But being old friends, I guess the foundations already been laid so there's no worry about running out of topics to chat about because, when all else fails, there's always the good old times to fall back on.
I must say that both Esther and Jason form an intregal part of my childhood. Their fathers and my dad go way back to their university days. Esther is 2 years my junior and Jason is 3 years my junior. As kids, we met up quite often. Our parents would have their usual gatherings so they would bring us along and that's where we would meet. We even went on trips together. They were my playmates. A good part of my childhood memories was about them. Now that we've all grown up, our lives are in the same pace all over again - everybody's in university (or for Jason's case, embarking onto university soon).
(THIS IS THE PART WHERE I CURSE MYSELF FOR NOT HAVING MY CAMERA WITH ME YESTERDAY!)
Well. Above everything else, I'm looking forward to Esther's return from China so that we can all meet up again. I'm sure it'd be fun.
