At the start of all my Japanese classes, my tutors would always ask, "おげんきですね?" For months I've replied, "げんきじゃない。" But for once, I felt that today, I can finally reply "げんきです!" (That is, if I decide to go for my classes. Ha.) Nevermind my already late essay, I still feel happy and I absolutely thank God for that.

Spent the whole of last night chatting to B1's SR, Scott. We talked about National Service, capital punishment, an assessment of Australia as a welfare-state, and a little on his home, Tonga. It's amazing how such diverse topics can actually be tied together. After that, Eugene Mark came to my room and we chatted about dating, marriage, divorce and one's expectation of life. It's not exactly the most intellectual conversation but it's always interesting to get a different opinion/perspective. I find it particularly amusing that he said, "You have a mentality of a 28 year old. Come on, you're only 23. Don't be so 臭老 (hokkien)." Yes I can see his point but am I really thinking too much for my own good? Maybe. I suppose the fact that I'm listening to the oldies doesn't exactly help my case. (Something random: FUCK. 林俊杰's 木乃伊 pretty damn good. Sorry lah. I is a bit slow but I was just reading the lyrics and wow, it really took the words off my mouth.) So yeah, the night ended at around 7am and I went to sleep before waking up at 9:40 today to visit the doc.

Oh, and I'm totally crazy over her all again. Tell me, ain't she a babe?
