A fresh start for a brand new year

What a year 2005 had been!

Let's see if I can list the highlights of the year (in chronological order) that had whizzed by.
I ...
1. chao Keng-ed
2. ORD-ed
3. found an excellent internship with Youth.SG
4. amidst everything, settled my university stuff
5. regrettfully, broke up
Not to mention that I'd spent more time with my buddies (who had been very much neglected and for that, I apologise) forged new friendships and yes, partied more.

2006 will be the start of a very exciting adventure as I enter university in less than 2 months' time. While everything in Canberra has been settled (from tuition fees to accomodation to flight details), the Singapore aspect of things are in a mess! I don't know how much clothes I'd need, so I've yet to buy 'em (hopefully I'd be able to buy some stuff in tomorrow's shopping trip). I haven't got a digital camera (due to budget constrains). I haven't arrange the final meet up with my non-CLGC friends. I'd need to stock up on my stationary soon. Not to mention medication.

"Den stop work earlier lah"

Nooo. I can't and I don't want to. Period.

Meet up with my buddies for dinner to (sorta) celebrate Iris' dinner. I'd totally forgotten that Denise and Xian are blissfully attached and thus did not count their spouses when I had to do a head count when I asked for a table at Wheelock's NYDC. I was so pai seh when I saw Alvin with Xian lah. What an idiot.

Dinner was excellent. Had my usual Three Amingos Baked Rice and a slice of some pizza that Iris and Xian was sharing. Service at NYDC was the usual shit.

Rus, Iris and I excused ourselves during the post-dinner chat to check out Birkenstock. They didn't have the one that Rus was looking for. The only thing that caught Iris' eye was the orangy strap of a model that she already has. And I didn't see anything I want.

Everybody left no sooner than 1 min after we returned to NYDC.

Looking forward to tomorrow's shopping trip.
